In this episode of Lafayette Lifestyle, we’re here on Church Street in Youngsville to meet with Stephanie Thibodeaux of Watch Me Whip Bakery to see how she puts an interactive spin on some tasty treats.
Stephanie originally graduated with a degree in the culinary arts from Nicholls State University and became a pastry chef. She put her career on hold to have kids, but when her kids started going to birthday parties, she realized there wasn’t anything very creative for kids to do. She took that idea, combined it with her passion for culinary creation, and Watch Me Whip Bakery was born.
The full menu is on their website.
At Watch Me Whip, you can come in, decorate cakes with your friends and parents, and have a great time. There are cheesecakes, famous cake cups, chocolate towers, and a whole host of other baked goods for you to indulge in as well.
I tried the chocolate tower, which is layers of cake with whipped icing and a chocolate ganache. I also tried a fruit pizza, the milk and cookie cake cup, and pretty much everything on the menu. Check out my tasting starting at 2:05 in the video above. To learn more about Watch Me Whip, check them out on Facebook, Instagram, or just visit their website.
If you have any questions for me, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
